alright finished a layout time to call it a day. i spent like an hour. some links don't lead to stuff yet. i had Mobile friendly in mind when making it but the header is still a little too big on mobile. howd yall find it? it'll be easier to make changes early on so say stuff as soon as possible! stuff you want changed or added?

ok this new account cant comment yet so im doing it here. i have a big idea now in my head. feel free to read through README and comment here with suggestions or anything you wanna say!

another thing. i knew onionring exists, im in a couple of webrings using onionring, and with no offense intended i dont like it. so im writing my own. and hopefully other ppl can reuse the code in the future to make their own webrings too

and if youll allow me to indulge in the reasons why i dont like it: the biggest thing is too much js on the member site. like i cant even tell if its the focus first ring or the webcomic ring (both of which use onionring) cuts off my /about page until they finish loading, which include fetching not one, not three, but two js files from their server. before then you physically cannot scroll further down

and also you have to maintain 2 site lists, one on the webring site and one in the variables.js file. if theres one thing i hate in the world its maintaining two separate but identical copies of stuff. its the reason why i gave up on toyhouse profiles, and why my obsidian vault for TIR is an unmaintained mess

also it doesnt support identical sites published in multiple places. i opted for github.io so now it shows im not in the ring in neocities
