Has anyone else here seen r/neocites? I love it. There are posts asking how to use the CENTER tag, the IMG tag, and just really basic stuff that you could Google in seconds lmao

Why do people have auto-playing music on their websites? Who likes that but the webmaster?

I think that Firefox has a thing that will stop auto-playing audio on websites, I can't be asked to see if it's on by default, but it's very useful

As a webmixter, there is something attractive about the idea of adding another of the five senses to my arsenal of ways to enhance the Surfing Experience™ — but to be honest, even when it's implemented well and not just some random nightcore track the webmaster likes, i almost always find myself reaching for the mute button. Such is life.

It's an accessibility problem, too. It makes it harder to hear a screen reader, and anyone with sensory sensitivities is going to have an issue with it.
