i just want to make it so only my website can read/write to a database. but you have to wade through the google abyss to get there and i am tired and already mad about unity today i cant be mad about two programming things at one i'll asplode (explode but quirky and hip)

i am like Thiiiiiis close in my head to hitting the next big milestone for warpzone 2.5 (deciding i dont want to call it warpzone 3.0 bc that sounds like nfts) but like every glimmer of productivity i have gets halted by GODDANG WEB CODE SILLINESS!!!!

Oh man, just reading this gives me anxiety, wish I could help, last time I did any auth coding was years ago when php7 just hit. It..it was awful, i hated everything about DB R/W access, making sure php played nice, bleh.

@enflicted oh god i havent even looked into php yet. why are there so many tools in web dev where's my graphically garish all in one editor like unreal engine. how do web developers live like this

an all-in-one solution would be the greatest lol. Web dev can be a huge undertaking, focusing on just one aspect seems to help me a lot. PHP was fun to learn, and code but i eventually stop developing with it. It became to much work. I stick with html/css. a lot less stress. I even tried unreal engine a few years back, i went cross-eyed and closed the software, confused the hell out of me.

Oh man these graphics!!! I love everything about them. Also you're very good with retro CGI! Your characters and locations really feel like they belong to a 90s adventure we never got to enjoy back then. My personal fav is the Chrome Devil x3

if ure using Javascript you just gotta do [insert whatever variable you've assigned the audio to].volume = [number between 0 and 1]! hopefully that works bc otherwise I have no idea :/
