In a sense, I do like having a blog to talk about art things and other topics that would involve more pondering. I was also thinking about making another one that's only for game reviews, since I tend to play a lot of games, but I feel I wouldn't mind making something different for that

Heya folks! I'm here to ask- do you know of any nice blog services I could use for my site? I don't wanna have to code a blog system, and would rather just use a service, if that's applicable. Any ideas will be appreciated!

I'm almost there with the updates... and once I'm done, I'll figure out a way to mirror my site page to it, once it's all running. Boy, it's gonna be a busy week...

I'm feeling like screaming... the home page is almost done, and the ENTER page is going through some renovations too... if I get the motivation, I could plan out the layout for the Cool Stuff page as well, and set up my blog and other stuff there...

Probably the craziest thing for me now is just giving my home page a complete overhaul... I even tweaked the grid system for it :']] Any other page should be easier to set up... apart from the gallery, which will require LOTS of image compressing...

Part of me has the bizarre challenge idea to try and release the update before or when I reach 1kβ¦ I still feel sad I never celebrated this siteβs bdays, so might as well make something meaningful at some point ^^ I have a really good feeling about all of this!

Little notice folks, but I got myself my own domain! I may find a way to mirror this one to it in due time, whenever the updates are finally pushed! ^^ And no, I'm not really leaving Neocities, I'll still keep this account here!

You can get custom Domains on Neocities! The thing is, you just will have to pay $5 a Month, but you'll also get 50GB of Storage! I haven't upgraded, but I may in the future.

Well, you don't buy domains from Neocities, while Sites such as GoDaddy have web hosting, Neocities is far better to me...

...I like to think of it like getting a new house, so you buy the domain from somewhere, and after paying, you get the Key, and the Webhosting is sort of like the Furniture.

I think it's more the fact that you need supporter to use a custom domain on neocities, which is an extra amount per month

hey nin! abby told me that if you pay for 1 month of supporter, you can get the domain working and it won't go away if you don't pay again

I've been a supporter for a long time and haven't had any issues. What server provider is giving you more than 50GB of service for less than $5/month??

Layercake said it right- I already spent money on getting the domain on GoDaddy, so I don't think it'll be doable to spend more money on the Supporter thing here. I'm currently using InfinityFree for the hosting, and I feel it'll be nice for the site's development. Also since I've got a nice amount of storage there and nice support for files.

I'm curious, since I've been thinking about changing guestbook providers... would it be doable to make the atabook look similar to my guestbook style, or would that not work?

Guys, I need some help- I wish to transfer my guestbook to a different type, or at least figure out how to let people put their e-mails or websites. I've noticed this is a huge flaw in it, and I kind of wanna find a way to make it better :'] Do you guys happen to have any suggestions?

hi nin! if you wanna host it inside your website, you could play around with ayano's comment widget (i think it will work on your website). if you wanna do something external, there's atabook

i've been using an iframe of a google form and posting the responses manually, i'm sure you could also use some other form hosting site to do the same

i can type a reply when putting someone's response up, but there's not really any way for someone else to reply to another person's entry else to reply to another guest's entry

Aww, thank you so much :']] I honestly don't know how to properly answer haha, I have some nice brushes that help with the aliased look, but in general, I've always been a fan of teeny graphics and pixels
I also say that cause I tried using Tumblr for this, but it just didn't work for me. The mood of the platform wouldn't really let my brain flow with topics to talk about, and became just another place to post art and reblog others' work
