Hello! I'm sure this might be an uncomfortable topic (I don't really know??? I'm trying to understand), but I believe you were associated with the Neocities District project? I've seen a few posts about what happened and why it's gone, but I can't really conclude and tie the story with the Somnolescent group (is that correct??? I'm sorry, I'm very confused). Could I get a deep dive into this? thank you :(

yes, I was involved with the neocities districts project! sorry for the slow response time but I might as well still ramble here. basically, it was just a fun little project between myself and some friends (two of which are still in somnolescent), I created the graphics for it! a few years ago some drama went down and an ex-friend grabbed the login details and booted everyone else out of it.
a friend who was the original person to make the account emailed kyle drake about it but we never got a response so ah well,,, anyway, I think they ran it for a little while with a redesign and have since disappeared off the face of the earth. very strange stuff, I can't tell you what happened there, I guess they just lost interest. neocities was a much smaller site when we started all of this.
