I actually only read poems from time to time by (how do I phrase it best) up-and-coming talents (or amateurs) who are anything but famous (and maybe even never will be). I love it when I can recognize that people are writing honest poetry and reflecting themselves through their work. But in principle you could say that I myself am the poet I prefer to read (even if that may sound a bit conceited). :P :D
But to explain that a little bit more; I see poetry as a tool to reflect oneself, to project the inner world into the outer world, to recognize or reflect oneself that way. That's why my own poetry is the best for myself. But this is a very endless and philosophical subject.
Thank you! I'm actually trying to make it more readable and just generally more user friendly right now :)
You're very welcome. I'll be sure to check back from time to time. Have a nice day! :)
