If you want wired internet connection you need to get a 'wired router'. It replaces the wifi box taking the same input cable connection the wifi box does. You need to figure out how the wifi box connects to the isp in order to get the new box to have internet though. Either by asking your isp, anyone else that could know, or connecting to the wifi box and looking at its info.

CORRECTION: you need a modem. modem/router are usually combined into the same device now. so you need a modem or modem router. modem router enables multiple connections at once.
