Online freedom away from Tech Giants is getting more dire than before. I can't do a whole lot for resistance physically in the US due to medical limitations and other circumstances, but perhaps what part I can have is digital, informational resistance. I still must prioritize my survival and gaining financial, physical independence from an increasingly dangerous area. But I want to return to this project as well.
Apologies for the hiatus on updates! I have a lot to write out for the fundamentals page so I can share the many free resources out there for you all. I've also had to test a few myself that I haven't used before. Aside from that, I am under huge pressure irl from unemployment and other issues. So my focus is now shifted back to my freelancing/portfolio website and planning for more things to put into my Ko-Fi shop.
When I have energy to chip away at this, I'm going to really go at it. With the knowledge of building websites, hosting them, and more, one can still have power and control over their own online space away from social media. Away from these corporate monsters and data brokers. All that stuff.
I'll soon be busy trying to transfer my comfortable setup I've had since the Windows 7 days (moved into 10 of course) over onto some Linux OS. I just hope it won't be as rocky as it would've been in the past. There seems to be a bit more software support for it now. But anything missing, guess I'll have to emulate Windows or whatever. There's a lot I'm trying to figure out in the background atm.
