making yet another redesign. i think imma make my website generally more modular. like the homepage, posts, links, etc would internally be seperate projects, and they could all have their own looks

how do y'all browse neocities? like just straight in your favorite browser, or do you use like incognito mode or a vpn, or...?

i use a vpn and a firefox container. i just simply wanna mask my location and have site storage clean fairly easily

i kinda don't like the twitter β bluesky migration. I've done a lot on twitter to make it have a positive impact on me. ive customized the web client myself with custom code, and I heavily use lists. but I don't have any of those tweaks on Bluesky, and bluesky doesn't show reposts in lists. it's quite a deal breaker and I don't use bluesky as much because of it.

If it's gonna be pixelated I HIGHLY suggest using Game maker to make it, if you want to use a game engine.

bscit accidentally deleted your reply saying you think it's a good adventure either way, but i think imma go with js and canvas. I just also like that aspect of coding a simple game engine

gonna wait until it fizzles down to do anything but I think Kyle is right in that blog post's footnote about calling it "ML" instead of "AI". cant believe The Industry decided on calling something so existential "AI", a term that already existed and also applies to a minecraft pig
