that’s the most relatable thing ever, and the worst bit is: once you make a doll (unless they’re part of it) YOU GET TO MAKE ALL THE OUTFITS FOR THEM \°D°/

VERY TRUE i'm having a bit of a dilemma trying to decide if i want to make the clothes part of the body. One hand that's easier, but on the other, a little guy with different little outfits....

What I would recommend is making the clothes that you wouldn’t need to change as part of the body, so if it’s a specific character and they always wear the same shoes and undershirt you could crochet those as part of the doll. And making test clothes with junk yarn first. The latter being a very, very hard earned lesson ✌🏻😔

That's a good idea, thanks! I think I'll make just the jacket or something separately for my first doll :p I've wasted so much yarn on failed projects, I seem to have the ability to create the world's strongest knots with my yarn(⌒_⌒;)
