revamped the home page design—i honestly think it looks super cute now ^ ^ also reworked how blockquotes work, they are much more visually distinct now; reworked tables so they look less cramped; changed the # of main fonts from 4 to 3 so hopefully the blogpost pages now look much more stylistically cohesive. also fixed a small problem related to scroll-padding.

with ~~ other commitments ~~ in life i haven't really written anything or touched the code of this site in quite a bit... might start writing something soon. hopes tentatively

been a fan for a while & somehow just Actually saw the little interactive passport at the /about page for the first time—it's so fun and so beautifully designed, gosh!! really got to be one of the coolest things i've seen on people's about pages

hi! im replying 2 ur comment here since im a few days late (sorry) & w/ no notif here i figured u might not see it if i just replied there.—im so happy u liked my writing! & oh gosh yeah i saw someone talk abt the transeurasian comparison stuff recently, & it really does seem that a huge chunk of Robbeets's basic vocab comparisons are not very sound at all, tho im not familiar w all the materials to judge 4 myself…

before my months of absence i was losing steam a bit with this site: there were lots of small problems i had with the design that felt daunting to fix. it turns out most of them can kind of be very easily fixed—the above fixed most of them! honestly i don't know what i was intimidated with. anyway i was trying to say that i'm so so happy that i came back to this. yippie !!
