Hey. Bad timing, I know. On NG and Bsky, I follow, favorite, and reply adult/mature/fetish artists and art. Do you want me to make an alt for this? I've been feeling conflicted and getting mixed opinions on this.

Has any of you ever been "addicted" to constantly edit your own sites? The past year since its creation, I've been constantly adding (sometimes without value) and removing some stuff that I haven't given myself time for other personal projects or art. I think life has finally caught up with me, plus I think I'm finally in that state where I'm mostly content with my site. Hopefully.

yes...theres just that feeling that you NEED to add usless things to your websites and stuff, it gets overwhelming and its hard to control that feeling

You moved to Fedora as well? I moved a bit ago and I've been really enjoying it :] it's a good balance between what I liked in both Debian and Arch.

Heyo. For anybody who pays for Neocities Supporter, is it worth it? Why do you pay for it? Why pay for it instead of using a different host?

I used to pay for it for the domain name and multiple sites. It was okay for the price, but I moved because you can get more for the same amount. I'm paying maybe $3 a month now and getting PHP, SQL, and a domain name for that much. So not the target audience, but moving was worth it for me.

Heads up. I know there's some followers of mine who are teenagers, but I am thinking about publishing "mature" artwork some day. Nothing actually "adult," though. In addition, this will be disabled by default, and I don't think I'll actually publish something mature for awhile. But if you are following me, I do think it is something you should keep in mind. I know some folks don't like art like that.

I've already added some settings to enable this, and warning the user that they must be an adult and what kind of art to expect.

Lately, I've been thinking about creating tutorials related to web development. If I do make them, what kind tutorials would you like to see or be helpful to you?

Like you mentioned before in my own thread, tutorials releating to sveltekit would be incredibly useful. I think basic JS tutorials would also be very nice, as a lot of tutorials i've found have been difficult to follow for me personally.

Thank you, Solinus! I do want to make my own buttons one day, but I do appreciate what you made and what you're gonna do for webites lacking buttons. Among other stuff, I'm working on setting up a blog (again) and a blog post, and when I finish that, I'll also add and publish the button to my website and of course giving you credit!

Hey, is there a way to tell Neocities to sort of "reset everything" every time I upload my website? Old pages I don't link anymore still appear unless I manually delete them.

All I can think is telling the CLI to use the delete option on everything (./*), though I don't know if that would work recursively. And then uploading it all again. Not the best, but might work.

Doesn't work unfortunately. It sucks that there's no tool on Neocities that allows you to make automated cleanups. :-/
Addendum: I've decided to make an +18 alts.
