i like that you blurred the highlights in the eyes and kind of made some of the details pop with the shading you did, but your new style is amazing!! i think they're both great in the end!!!

the old one seems more detailed but the new one has better clarity if that makes sense, and seems more purposeful, which is good improvement :)

I like them both for different reasons! New is very nostalgic-looking for me but the old is very pleasant. You don't have to pick just one, imo

lots of people care! it's perfectly reasonable to want to diminish your online fingerprint, but personally i love reading how people's days are or what they've been thinking about lately. your blog (and site as a whole) are delightful!!!!^-^
