Bumpin this update since it got lumped with the updates from yesterday. Got a worldbuilding portal now!
Whats new: A LOT of new artworks in the finished, sketch, and shitpost section. Updated the video section, and also a small visual change to the character directory.
Other thought: I also need to make a worldbuilding portal. At the moment my Psion and Sky:CotL stuff are unlinked to the rest of my site, so you can't access them unless you knew the URL off the top of your head.
Small update for Mufo's art section, finally added a piece of fan art from Art Fight I neglected to add.
Newest entry: (https://pip-pepping.neocities.org/sky-lore-headcanons/living-and-unliving/dark-plants) Also updated the entire Sky lorebook section to have a slightly better style for mobile users
You like Sky: Children of the Light? You like headcanons? I've got several pages for you ^^^
In most regards I think I'd be fine, because with my personal art and writing I don't post it anywhere public aside from my website. I do however have a fandom sideblog with a small following and if Tumblr fully went to shit I'd probably be a little affected. There are some faces I've come to recognize and it'd hurt me not knowing where else to find those folks รบ.รน
The thought of where else to go is also difficult. Other platforms that I'm aware of (like Mastodon, BlueSky) seem to be more focused on shorter posts which I'm somewhat weary of. The patient (me) needs long posts to live. Like there are short posts on Tumblr, sure, but I'm the one makin' lengthy posts (on the rare occassion I do be posting)
I will also note I *am* aware of Wafrn, which of all the alternatives I'm aware of is most like Tumblr. I have a Wafrn account, though if I had to jump ship Wafrn may still take some getting used to. Wafrn is connected to the fediverse, which is nice for connecting with Mastodon users. However, I have no idea what the fandom scene is like over there. Wafrn itself is also a bit rough around the edges, what with it -
coming out around 3 years ago. Some functionalities are also missing compared to Tumblr (lack of sideblogs, lack of tag following, lack of image arrangement options). For image arrangement, I know that it's a limitation that can't be helped because Wafrn is a part of the fediverse (and images are always displayed at the bottom of a post, as opposed to being found anywhere on a post like on Tumblr).
