my initial page looks fine on the preview but a friend said the frame i made is misaligned and covers the text... does it look normal to you guys? if i try to fix it, it looks misaligned on the preview orz

it looks misaligned to me, too. i think you can fix it by: adding position: relative to main, removing the overflow: auto altogether from main, and then adjusting the top and left position of the image
your site is amazing, i love the y2k aesthetics page and the pasta recipes sound so good.. i usually just eat butter pasta but you've inspired me to try something different!
firefox blocks so much cool stuff on people's websites... i've been meaning to change to a different browser but at the same time it's so familiar... ;_;
