I told myself once that I wouldn't delete my blog posts, but I did delete two of my more recent ones. I was recently going through some denominationaly shenaniganry (basically inquiry into Christian denominations), but I think it's better to keep that topic between myself and friends, since I don't think my flailing about is very helpful towards others on this topic.

I still figure on probably making blog posts on faith-based topics, but I think it'd be better for me to do so when I'm on more... solid ground theologically speaking? Rather than this odd limbo state I currently find myself in. Rest assured my faith remains firm regardless, but, ech, I don't want to drag people I don't know too well into my confusion on other matters.

I thought those posts were fairly interesting, especially since I myself don't have a denomination and am left to figure that all out on my own (and have seen similar helpfulness in tradition) but that reasoning is fair! I hope it all bodes well for you ^^

@flying-with-quills I feel ya. It's not a fun position to be in. I definitely would recommend not getting so lost in denominational particulars that you lose sight of the basic truths of the faith and Gospel. Remain in prayer and continue to read the Scriptures as you search! Your sentiment is much appreciated. I'm in a better spot now than before, and have at least narrowed myself down to Protestantism.

It is okay to change your mind, and it is great to change it to the better believes.. I hope you are feeling better at least.. will read your posts and tell you my opinion.. I changed my opinions a lot throughout the years, so I really feel what you are going through...

Totally respect your privacy, though I admit I am interested to know what the discussion was like. I went through a kind of wild faith journey; raised Episcopal originally, then non-denominational for several years, then irreligious, then broadly delving into paganism and occult, until inevitably ending up in Orthodox Christianity. So, I'm always interested to hear other people's tales or ongoing journeys.

@reaganlodge It was moreso that I've had multiple conversations with friends and family along the way, so I'd have to make a summary of points or something kekek. Your journey seems an interesting one though. As for myself, I was raised Christian but didn't seek God earnestly until I had fallen into a serious sin, but my beliefs were poorly defined and erroneous until I met with other Christians online.

I could definitely be a tad more specific, but I'm not too good at keeping a long story short, and the Neocities comment character limit is quite low. Long and short of it is was that I was very much a boat being tossed about by every wave and wind until I met other Christians.
