I did the thing again. I was excited about making a site here but then I went around looking at other people's site and feeling like all my ideas were boring or dumb and ended up doing nothing.

It feels like everyone has a big story to tell or a whole "HEY THIS IS ME" going on and all I have is a bunch of loose pages with no relation nor point.
neocities is really more about the joy of creation more than anything else. i can understand the worry, i can relate... but in the end, if you enjoy making that idea then it's not a dumb idea! you don't have to be entertaining, or special, it's just a space made for you by you. and if that's a bunch of loose pages, that's incredible, because you still made it
(and personally just as a landing page, i adore what you have here- it's really pleasant and unique. so that alone shows something, if a simple "coming soon" message is something memorable to someone)
My site is mostly to put my music out. Everything else is just a hodgepodge. I love creating a stupid single page from time to time. Create it, publish it, done. On to the next.
This might sound weird coming from an internet stranger, but I totally understand how you're feeling. If it makes you feel any better, I was super intrigued by your site, and I was (and am still) excited for any future changes to it. I think the landing page you have is really unique. At the very least, I hope you can find a way to create for your own sake, rather than as a point of comparison.
