nice summary. "I don't feel like working on this website very often anymore." me too man, me too. thank heck for owlman. oh, and kenny46140 suddenly disappeared a while ago.
I won't even bother reading your post if it's not burnt into a JPEG and posted to Instagram.
i haven't done anything proper with my site from long time because who cares about anyone there when this site is dead
i think the reason is that as a social network, neocities is (currently) broken. I do 100% believe in the power of personal websites. But there's an asymmetry: Site authors can express themselves deeply and readers get a very intimate look at someone... but the inverse is not true. So authors (at least me) end up feeling lonely or smth. i have 46,000 hits but it feels like nothing. not like im connecting with someone
plus, regular old burnout/perfectionism issues. hopefully you are happy to hear i am slowly working on my website again.
You seem somewhat...ambivalent...on this subject. :chuckle: I also find these things weird and disconcerting. Jquery is a tiiiny library and there are a million cool fonts to download on the web. Also, please stop using Bootstrap. lol
last time i told anyone how to use neocities it didn't go over well so i wish u the best
"The problem with complimenting your beautiful page which uses an object as an associative array is that you eventually run out of brain to understand Object.keys so you just copy and paste something from stackoverflow" - not Margaret Thatcher but me

That's basically it. Amazing thing is that I don't even feel very depressed.
