project2 (palutena) was working on a alternative NC client and it was really cool. though the craziest stuff you could do would probably ruin the whole "archival" part of neocities due to it probably using server side features.

I remember when this article dropped, I think I suggested some stuff for it. Agreed fully, and I think Kyle's nuts if he thinks Neocities is "just about done".
