i redid my entiiiiiiiiire layout. the whole thing. every page. be sure to hit that CTRL/CMD + F5!! if you liked my old layout more, sorry... i took pictures of it, and i'll upload them some day.
oh yeah, i wrote why i did this here -> https://elyusion.dreamwidth.org/18261.html the only new Content is one (1) new drawing and updates on the haruka 1 liveblog though
Really interesting blog entry! I related with some of your points, mostly with how some site designs are kind of overwhelming with design but sometimes underwhelming with actual content. My site used to lean more towards the "cutecore" look just because it was easy, but I've been trying to go for design aspects that I'm the most interested in and make sure to balance it with content.
Thank you for reading! Whatever you do with your site I'm sure it'll look great. I did notice a while back that you streamlined your layout or something-- it looks good :3
i resonated with your diary post alot, not that there isnt a place for visually busy sites or anything, but I think a personal site is best when its functional while still maintaining style.
content is also a big factor with sites i enjoy and how i maintain my site, i try to keep my pages to a minimum and label frivolous pages as such and put them in a "misc" category, whenever i push an update, i always try to make it of substance.
You don't have a guestbook, but as a Navarreling enthusiast (idk the word but I like Navarre and all characters inspired by him) I loooooooooooooooove this site and I *had* to let you know. I had the site in my bookmarks for months before realizing I could comment here :]
