I'm going to take some rest with writing for my site. I've got two documents I'm simultaneously working on (one has become urgent) and working on something else in the background simultaneously while actively watching my rights be stripped in the American Empire and the genocide continue in Gaza. I need to rest; fascists will try to exhaust you to prevent cohesive thought, organization, and mobilization.

Yes, I'm aware I also need to create a definiton for Democratic Socialism (and address its etymological redundance). Considering being less formal in the comments and on the associated Bsky as I feel the way I discuss philosophy is less down-to-earth and feels more like a teacher trying to explain concepts to someone without context of prior concepts.
I've hit a bit of a roadblock in my writing of the next document. I'm wondering if I should work on partitioning documents first (for instance The Red Star of Heoism is a key philosophical document but would be on the page by itself) or work on the Glossary in the meantime.

Added some new buttons, as well as adding alt text and a Neocities browsing link to the hosted by Neocities button.
I'm still working on the next Heoist document as its preamble has unintentionally become much longer than intended; something about expressing my voice in writing makes it far more eloquent and verbose than my succinct descriptions in person. I also have some concerns about another accessibility: I want to have audio recordings of my political philosophy, however, I'm unsure how I would go about doing so.

To elaborate: were I to use my voice training, it would be immediately recognized and create an undeniable tie between Heoism and my internet pseudonym, and I'm wary of the effect this could have. On the other hand, using my necrovoice could be offputting for both myself and others. There's also an issue that I'm not exactly lubricated of capital, especially monetary capital and social capital.

Consequently, I've not really a way to hire a voice actor. While I have yet to write a hypothetical Heoist Manifesto, I will say that The Red Star of Heoism and this new document are both very lengthy and I've received criticism from readers that its length makes it difficult to focus. I feel that being able to listen may remedy this. This additionally ties into another concern regarding translations.

Update: I've finally transferred the preamble to a proper document and it's 2,013 words long. The test voice recording is 12 minutes long. I may HAVE to create recordings.

I've added a rudimentary link hotbar so that you can get to any page from anywhere on the site. As you can probably tell I have a few other site subsections I'd like to build, particularly partioning documents between Key and Other and introducing a Glossary as I tend to use uncommon or wholly unique words. I'm currently in the process of writing a new document, which I believe may classify as a Key Document.

IRL developments are unfortunately slow, though I won't elaborate. As for the Neocities website, I'll likely be making a site hotbar soon; please be aware that I work a full-time unionized job and would additionally like to use my own assets without wholly mimicking the page style of lupinus or mental-labour, despite the inspiration. I may additionally look into light/dark toggles for accessibility.

ive been thinking about working on theme toggles too, it might help with accessability on my more red/black heavy pages lol. also dw about mimicking my stuff!! the more homemade grunge the better >:D

That's the exact concern I've been having - a lack of accessibility. I'm considering mimicking the colour schemes you can find in the programming menu on-site for some more variety than just light/dark if possible, I'm just actively learning programming literally as I upgrade the site and haven't reached that point.
I'm tentatively considering making a full tie between Heoism and my online persona but I don't know what kind of repercussions that could have. I'll have to speak with some of my comrades. In the meantime, I recommend you download a secure end-to-end encrypted communication app called Signal. Even maia arson crimew has recommended it.
Recommended Signal settings: Use a username instead of your phone number. Disable phone number identification, especially for contacts. Set a timer of 1 week for automatic message deletion. Set a 5 minute screen lock with a pin or password. Block screenshots. Block keyboard memory/personalized learning (it warns it may ignore the request, however). Under advanced, have calls relay through Signal to hide your IP.
