Even as extravagantly '90s as my site appears, I do agree that there's nothing wrong with dealing in modern web design.
html just because the index page has to be html and i want everything to be consistent
I use html for full pages, and htm for partial pages intended to be loaded in with JS.
I just use a whole bunch of index.html files in folders because that's hip and trendy now I guess.
