Thinking about adding a blog, looking for suggestions. How do you people go about making yours? Do you just code each entry manually or use something like Zonelets? Static site generator? Dreamwidth or some other embeddable journal thing?

I do it manually with each entry being its own page, though I reuse the HTML each time. There's room for it being more fancy but I keep it simple since blogging isn't a huge focus for me.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback both of you. If anyone else has info to share I'm all ears. Currently looking into Hugo and other static page generators, something I have no familiarity with... Seems useful maybe.

Can't wait to put in more time on updating my site here. Social media timelines just feel gross right now. Even with the positive follower/mutual base I have on X, Insta etc, browsing any of those platforms just gives a feeling similar to a stimulant high jaggedly wearing off and leaving you chasing one more bump.
