I would suggest making a PHP backend, but Neocities wouldn't be based enough to allow supporters to do that XD.
since you're a supporter, you could also use the comment widget from virtualobserver that runs on google sheets if you wanted https://virtualobserver.moe/ayano/comment-widget no pressure of course, just linking it in case you weren't aware of it before. it runs off google sheets
