new music doodle! come check it out. inspired by me stressing out over my assignment due date. i think one thing i'm happy about is that it sounds quite different from my other music doodles, but still carries a kind of 'signature' i have in my pieces. ☺

I've never heard the term "music doodle" before but it has in an instant rewritten the way I think about composing + made me even more compelled to get back into it

@ocrevol right?! thinking about music like i do with drawing in the form of 'doodling' has made it so much more fun to compose now that i don't feel obligated to make something 'complete'! it's a gamechanging term ☺

responded to the wrong piece - the bouncy one that I said was like walking along a bridge with your friends was the one at the top of the page, oops. "plea" is not that at all, but definitely does carry a note of familiarity - it's interesting. well-titled

I really like how "out of sync" the song feels, especially in the bassline. Really makes you feel that stressful tension!

I really enjoyed your take on cruelty. It is interesting how people with seemingly good intentions who care about justice and a better world for all can still be chomping at the bit for their turn to wield cruelty in a way that feels justified, toward those who deserve it as you aptly put it. This odd presupposition that cruelty by default has a place in an ideal world. I'm not sure quite what to make of that yet!

in terms of personal projects- i've gotten started on that modern fairytale retelling essay that i mentioned wanting to write. just compiling sources at the moment, but once i finish my school assignments this will be my main side project hehehe
