I watched Greenways's Prospero's Books years ago, but remember little of it except that it was a bit bewildering. I preferred Drowning By Numbers, which was the first film of his I saw. I watched it several times. I found it intriguing (and I wanted to find all those numbers).
I took a date to see The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover. I got a very angry response after the film finished. I think it was the meat truck scene that did it. You know what I'm talking about.
Oh boy.
