Yeah, the way social media can impact you on a subconscious level is something almost everyone underestimates. I've seen it fuck up people in my life, getting too caught up in anger and paranoia from political topics. I think all that fear damages faith in your ability to overcome hardships in life. It's part of why I distanced myself from political discussion online.
