Is flexbox pretty much supported by the modern browsers at this point. I remember reading into it a while back and thinking it would solve a lot of my layout woes, but didn't want to fight another cross browser compatibility battle.

@dann i think so? I've been testing flexbox/grid layouts w/the latest versions of Firefox & Chrome, seems consistent
down the road, i'd like to: make my site more interactive (clickable thumbnails enlarge, comments?, etc), and curate a list of outgoing links
