Say, I got my hand on some liver meat. Do I just eat it out of the bag or is there a proper way of preparing it?

The classic way to eat it is fried in butter with onions, but since I don't like onions I just eat it alone, fried in pure butter. Lamb liver is what I usually have. The taste will never be amazing, and you'll notice a bit of a gritty texture, especially if it's more well-done. Really, though, it's not as bad as people say it is. It just tastes like slightly old meat, in my opinion.

If you don't like eating it as is, you can also always opt for pate or mix it in with some other meat. The only reservation you should have is that you don't need to eat more than one serving a week or so, due to potential vitamin A toxicity if you overeat it somehow. (That is unlikely, but nonetheless.)

I highly reccomend dirty rice: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/276821/dirty-dirty-rice/ I have only tried it with chicken liver, but I think it ought to work with any sort.

Likewise! I love your focus on philosophy. Always happy to find sites that even dabble in the topic, nevermind devote themselves to it fully. I have also found that the more I 'dabble' in reading and studying philosophy the more I realise it's not something that's exactly possible to only dabble in. And so the slippery slope goes. :^)

It seems you are progressing well with the coloured pencils. We would suggest experimenting with pastel pencils, they can be more forgiving and gestural and blend in a way which is not possible with coloured pencil. Water soluble graphite with a brush is also recommended for fur. Universe be with U

I do have some water soluble graphite pencils lying around, actually, so may try this out soon. I think I have coloured pastels somewhere, but no pencils, but the next time I'm in an art store will keep an eye out for these. Thank you. :]

Try pastel pencils if you can find them, they tend to be more chalky and you can sharpen them to get precision where necessary.

Started looking at your website because of your comment to Cap and your post about veiling is really interesting! I have a Presby friend who also veils and that was my first time coming across the practice. All that to say - you seem really neat! ^-^ Would you be interested in joining my Webring?

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I would be; cap was already encouraging me to! Send me an email if there's anything in particular you'd like to say, or feel free to reply back here.
