New month, new season, new updates! Finally uploaded my site log and popped in my first entry for the season in a brand new page ^__^ i have a few updates to make elsewhere soon, too...
Your new layout is so pretty!! The header is too cute... congrats on your new relationship as well, I hope everything goes well! ♡♡
@sarah thank you for your kindness as always ♡♡ i'm looking forward to seeing what you've got in store soon too!
Seconding Amy, your "current" page is so sweet! And wah, thank you for the shoutout!! ; __ ; Can't wait to see what you've been eating!! It sounds like karate's been good for you--it's nice having those rocks, especially during life transitions ♡♡
@amy thank you!! i saw a few other people had done something like it and wanted to put my own little spin on it too :3
@sarah of course!! seeing all your food pics made me wanna share mine too hehe. karate has been super great as well, i just helped out with grading last night and it was super cool seeing how dedicated my peers are ;__; im hyped for mine in december now lmao!!
Just another cheeky blog update about stuff going on at the moment :p hopefully getting jacked from martial arts won't stop me from maintaining my site too much heheh
We'll have to talk with your dojo if they keep you from us too much (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ seriously though, how cool you're able to pick up karate again! You'll have to share how it goes. I found myself reading for pleasure way more after finishing university than in the middle of it, so it might be the same for you!
Good luck reading all of the library books! I haven't read Convenience Store Woman, but some of my friends raved about it. Karate also seems just plain fun as exercise too!
@sarah i sure will!! and i'm hoping that's the case for me as well, i really like reading as a whole but having to be on a time crunch for it was a real pain v__v plus i get to have more variety in my literary diet now!
@amy thank you!! and I highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance, it's a very fun and short read!
just doing some small overhauls to my site... i also can't seem to get the webrings to display in a row as opposed to a column ????
It looks like they aren't in their own div? Maybe wrap them all in a div and give it a display of flex, and work from there?
Sometimes they all show up together if you don't space them apart on a new line for me.... but I would just listen to Amy's advice!!
today's alternate title: exchange is over! this airport terminal business stuff is serious.
Wah the public transportation in even the rural parts of Japan sound super convenient ; __ ; how fun you were able to squeeze in some last minute sightseeing too!! I hope you're able to settle in and rest before picking things up again! ♡
oh man, every time I go abroad I fall in love with the trains/transport as well. One of my favorite past times is sitting on a train lol. Safe travels and looking forward to hearing about your new chapter in life <3
@sarah thank you so much, it's going pretty smoothly so far!! im hoping to pop some of those photos on my site sometime in the near future, i had a really good time ;__;
@amy seriously, same..! I don't know how I'm going to live without my emotional support train rides on the Nagoya subway lol!! And thank you as always, same goes for your adventures as well <3
new blog post. women (me) just keep getting into situations, apparently!!! luckily the shinkansen cancellation isn't related to anything too serious, something just got derailed.
There's nothing more anticlimactic in the world than having heartfelt goodbyes with a group and then you have to do the walk of shame of "just kidding!" 😭 I hope that you have safe travels from here on out! It's good you have plans waiting for you when you get home and already deciding to come back! It's nice looking forward to things ♡
@sarah right!!! thank you so much, yesterday went super smoothly and today should be alright too aside from carting luggage around to the airport🥲
cheeky little blog update for now... i have no time for anything else, sorry!
sounds like a great weekend!! it is surreal when you spend a good amount of time in a foreign country and then suddenly...you're just home again. I hope you make the most of your last few days in Japan <3
@amy it really was!! there were a few low points I neglected to mention to focus on the fun, but it was such a whirlwind of good times! I'll do my best to enjoy the rest of my time here before I head home, thank youuuu ;__;
just a small blog update for now :p if I eat something super cool on my date, I'll add a pic to my food log with a little bit of yappage
