How do y'all find inspiration for your site design? Do you collect references and inspirations, sketch it out beforehand, or just start coding? I'm really a code first think later person, which has been unhelpful in the long run, so I'm curious how everyone does it!

every time i think i understand something, it turns out i really hadn't thought about it hard enough. i understand flex now. it literally just clicked and now it makes sense. ok!!!!

nesting css has changed my life ohhhh my god like applying :hover to a whole div but modifying individual elements....... this feels so simple and obvious but it's blowing my mind.

looking at css and html it's like well this is just transparent. python i like get the basics and understand the thinking. javascript makes my brain go aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i tend to take inspiration from sites i visit around here! i make notes of stuff id like to implement to a page. if its a complex layout then i sketch first but if not, then i just start coding
