anyways over the past few days i have been fixing my moms laptop and i figured out its an issue with the keyboard which is making keys press down at random times, which made it randomly turn the volume down, boot into recovery no matter what i did, boot into bios, arrow key shenanigans, all that.

so i installed windows 7 as a "well i cant really fix this this so why not" kind of thing
anyways i am proud to announce this has solved the issue by refusing to acknowledge the keyboard. like it doesnt exist to it for some reason
however it is missing a bunch of drivers for graphics and ethernet and wifi now so. you win some you lose some ig
