How exciting! Feel free to shoot me any questions about preparing about your trip. I'd recommend finding a cheap sharehouse (~$15 USD/day) and getting a Suica as soon as you get to Japan.

Oooooh thank you so much! I've sorted out a cheap place to stay so that's fine. I should definitely consider getting a Suica even if I'm not going to be traveling much while there. I don't have any burning questions atm, but I would be really grateful if I have any in the future. Not sure exactly where to ask though, since Neocities comments probably ain't exactly the best place for it haha
