Likewise!! I see that you have Fire Emblem AND Pokemon MD which makes me mucho happy. :) I would love to be affiliates!
Aw, thank you! And yeah, I live and breathe Fire Emblem. I'll throw your special affiliate button up now! :D
SAME. I've been meaning to add more FE content to my site haha. Thanks again! :)
Forgive me if I'm overstepping bounds by commenting on this but... he's blocking fursuit sites? That's such a bizarre, harmless thing to block?
Nothing like overzealous parents inhibiting their child’s interests and creating an insecurity complex combined with trust issues. Good luck with the rest of your adolescent life, although you’re basically a baby until you turn 20.
you're not overstepping at all! i'm not really sure what he's even trying to accomplish, because, like... i can still look at the website while on any other wifi (and vpns exist). he's blocked youtube, tumblr, reddit, and a handful of other sites that i stumble upon occasionally. i suppose tumblr and reddit make sense to try and dissuade your kid from viewing, but the (strictly sfw, mind you) fursuit site?? no clue.
"an insecurity complex combined with trust issues" i accept this as an official diagnosis. and thank you! i am certainly trying to, although with moving out coming up in ~8 months, i'm a little nervous about tipping too far into my interests at the first taste of freedom
He blocks YouTube, too? Yikes. That and Twitch are like the whole of my entertainment (as opposed to like, tv, which I don't watch at all). A lot of it is mindless silliness (gaming and such) but there's so much good stuff too, including all sorts of educational videos... I've learned *tons* from YouTube. Well you'll have access to it in 8 months at least, I guess!
Freedom is typically defined as “freedom from” and “freedom to”. When you have freedom from your parents, you have the freedom to do whatever you want. The trouble is newfound freedom comes with testing your limits in adult life, and you find growing up is learning what limits, exactly, you place on yourself out of understanding the consequences for breaking them.
Thank you so much! I will have the awards up on the next update!
