You ask the laymen as if I have any clue what is going on anymore, and am not just reading because I love your writing style, lol. β±:
You have an incredible way with words, as always, my friend. I love your ability to paint mental pictures. I admit I thought you were talking about drugs at first though, when you said "getting demolished on products", lol.
Excellent writing once again. A few possible errors: "starting through and beyond" instead of "staring" and a possible extra and in "and and the man stood over"? I laughed at the "what I'm going to do is decompose" line until I looked down and saw you were talking about the mathematiocs. For some reason that just sounds like a hilarious expression of desperation.
I adored the opening parts of this write-up especially. Very eloquently written. I sort of feel sometimes as if I am reading the diary of some mathematics-obsessed madman in an old timey classical novel. I mean that in a very positive way, just so you know. (:
*Mathematics, even. Dammit. The old rule that it's impossible to point out a typo without making one yourself still rings true.
now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. Do not let your heart turn to Tessie's ways or stray into Tessie's paths. Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death
I find it funny how you have like 3 writing styles: 1) plain/formal writing, 2) unhinged maniac, and 3) 2000s teenage girl
you mentioned infinite sums for 1 second and i started thinking "im doing it!!! im understanding a hartshorned post!!!" but alas ;_; the shorned is too strong
@clam sorry meant to reply yesterday. its these guys --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideal_(ring_theory)#Ideal_operations https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/782644/infinite-sum-of-ideals [also i fixed a typo there lol]
I ADORE the "Who makes themselves felt on the President's desk on the morning-of?" and "The whole floor, and the members of the gallery all raise their heads, like ghoulish gooses in a nightlit pond watching dancing skylights." lines, along with the rest of this! You have a way with words, as usual.
Really love your writing although I sometimes struggle to tell where the seriousness ends and where the eldritch lunacy begins. I sincerely hope you feel much better soon, my friend.
For the record this is very sweet, and I appreciate that you wrote this little poem, Holy-Heart.
How does one decipher one of your posts holy-heart? (thx 4 da shoutout lolz)
you gotta use your heart
do you find your thoughts expanding when you go through this math book? does it change your perspective on things? it's obtuse to me, plebeian coming through β no doubt math is the language of the universe, but the universe expressed in algebraic geometry feels like a nebula maze; when you solve something, I'm not even sure what was expressed at times. in short, what have you gotten out of hartshorn thus far?
@kazuhisa idk D:
