Why are people younger than me listening to Russian music. A horrible song I heard a while back in particular. A little bit of research leads me to singer «Бэтси», repetitive tripe, makes Morghenshtern look like a maestro. I know most of my Russian language contacts are gone due to the investigation into Proton and the alleged terror cyberattacks launched from operatives using Proton.

As a general rule, I do not consume raw meat products, that is not to say that they are bad, just that I was always told to avoid them. It was my first time consuming raw meat and thus far the only one I have taken liking to is Mett (I am aware that most health organizations highly discourage the consumption of Mett). Raw fish to me was an odd experience having tried some Salmon and Tuna from a popular [1/?]

restaurant in a coatal city 45 minutes away from where I live. It might sound weird, but I think that mayonnaise might suit it best, specifically tuna or similar fish, such as the stronger tasting bonito or mackerel. Why would ginger be the natural choice for many?

Ginger served with sashimi is a palate cleanser, you're supposed to chew it for a while to get the taste of the last piece out of your mouth so the next bite you take is more flavorful. Same concept when they give you a tiny bit of lemon sorbet between courses at a fancy restaurant. I've never eaten mett, but some day...

I see, I never thought of that. Also, I just finished the episode, apparently raw bonito was consumed with Japanese style mayonnaise combined in soy sauce. While this style of mayonnaise is unfamiliar and seemingly unobtainable for me I am familiar with the fact that it has a different, stronger flavor, plus thicker consistency and a higher fat content per serving, thanks to the lack of egg whites.

While my father had been ill, I had lost contact with somebody who used to have a Neocities website. Does anyone have an update on Preresent, otherwise known as Raster? There are some rumors about something, can anyone who is close to him and/or also resides in HK please let me know.

I guess I might as well share why the inactivity for the past year or so. It mostly has to do with my father's health and that he has been in and out of the hospital several times since October. As such, I am his caretaker. I still watch anime and film, but I have not been keeping notes. The Edgerunners review will be complete, then the Mai-HiME review, then Initial D, Crayon Shin-Chan and possibly Golgo 13, [1/2]

Worst part is that a lot of lyrics are in English. I just happened to be making a run to the book store to see if they had some worthwhile magazines in (and to pick up the newpaper). I feel that the worst aspects of Russia (okay, not the worst, but some of the worst) are now invading America.
still better than listening to the same 5 gosh darn songs every single day over nearly every single radio station in america.
Hits stations are similar in Russia, 25 most popular, changing weekly. I prefer some American radio stations more, though Russian variety stations play stuff people listen to rather than the American ones, which focus on more obscure and niche music.
The American stations are more concerned with something called "payola," which is when disc jockeys and radio stations get paid by record companies to play the same singles over and over and over (often once an hour, at the very least once a day). In cases like that, it's not so much a concentration on niche music as it is an attempt to make something mediocre into something popular.
