Are you sure you want to do this?
Regarding residental renovation for ants, try SimAnt (via DOSBox, WINE, et cetera). That platformer you proposed on the seventh seems promising. Could one use the ball and paddle as both a weapon and a grapnel (akin to the bionic limb in Bionic Commando)?
I would imagine if you hold the left mouse button, the ball extends (and falls down if you keep holding it). So to lift yourself up, or keep yourself in the air, you would just throw the ball into the ground. And you could use it as a weapon to defeat other enemies. Also I feel that game would be a great one to speedrun. :)
Speedruns with those operational dynamics would be great. Would the mouse be used solely for aiming and bouncing the ball, similarly to Abuse's controls?
Yeah, that's what I imagine. I think it'd also be cool to have maybe hooks that your ball could attach to, so you could swing, which I think would be fun and satisfying. :)
