No limits for allowed file types (on a free account) might be nice for some. Personally not a fan of their branding.
i think it's fun whereas neocities is more professional(ish) they also follow german law though so your site is subject to it(listed in the TOS)
For broke musicians being able to upload audio files is big! It's so funny that neocities, on free accounts, forbids most audio files but allows midis for some reason.
It's pretty easy to use a CDN like google drive or dropbox for some files. That's what I do for all my videos on my site. Though it would be nice if it was a default feature here as well, I think its a good thing to have multiple static hosting services around the web, but I don't see many reasons to move from one to another.
