is there a trick for getting frames to show up...? i can't figure it out... ლ(ಠ_ಠ ლ)

So there are two ways to use frames, using FRAMESET and IFRAME tags. I used to use FRAMESET before I figured out that IFRAME is much better, since you're using two pages rather than three. A good way to use FRAMESET is to define it with COLS="x, y" where x or y can define the width of the sidebar, and the other value defined as * (which is the rest of your body). /1

Then you just get the pages all set up and pop them into the FRAMESET with FRAME tags, defining the pages as src. You can read more about it here: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_frameset.asp I prefer to use IFRAME, since it's all on one page. Feel free to view my index page source to see how I did it. /2

But simply put, the way to trick IFRAME to act as FRAMESET is to define it with [width: n px (n is how long you want your sidebar to be), height: 100%, position: fixed, margin: none, padding: none, top: 0, left: 0] and then put your "body" in a div right after the IFRAME and define it with margin-left: n px. If you want your sidebar on the right side of the page, or the top, or whatever, just adjust the measurements.
