updates: shrimp tank offline as i try and fix a bad water chemistry problem that's affecting the shrimp. I'm actively programming some QoL updates for the website as well, so please look forward to that.

guys that blog post was from last year. I don't think kyle is going to suddenly turn this place into a scrape zone, considering how little it gets updated anyway. I don't think there's any harm in checking out other hosters, but I think it's important to remember the post was from June 2023.

ok the shrimp camera is back up again for real this time. ugh. internet provider why do you hate me!? Anyway, i think i'm going to flesh out the seperation between the personal side of the site and the 'story' side of the site in the future. if yall have anything you like to see from me, as always, let me know.

i don't like genAi tools in like 99% of cases btw. If he decides to update this platform to use our works like that i'm leaving. I just honestly think it would have happened by now if he wanted to?
anyway, do what you'd like- but personally speaking I haven't seen anything to make me want to hit the panic button just yet

Yeah, I agree with this. I enjoy the old web movement but that means we shouldn't marry ourselves to the identity of an individual host. This site is the most convenient for me right now, so as long as the functionality itself stays simple and doesn't fall down the garbage chute of algorithmically generated content and recommendations, I will stay here.
