i never said it was good or robust region locking. i just said that it's region locking

with dvd's and cd's - and just owned media in general, you don't need an internet connection to watch your favorite shows
physical is better than digitally owned imo, because you can actually look at it, hold it, and go "wow, I own this!"
also, cd's, dvd's, and blu-rays, they look amazing all lined up on a bookshelf, much like video games do!
if you ever risk finding a time rift and getting sent back to the stone age (the 2000's), just make sure you keep your favorite CDs and DVDs on you - so that you can watch them while you slowly lose your mind from the social media addiction withdrawals!
on that note, you can also save screencaps of your favorite social media posts on a burnt CD or DVD and read them in a computer!
