Ever since I started doing some research into Nehalennia last year, I've been wanting to study Greek and Roman mythology - what is interesting is the blending of deities at the lost temples in the Netherlands of what is (presumably) a Germanic or Celtic goddess with Greek/Roman ones. Is Ancient Germanic and Greek/Roman culture as separate as we think, or was Snorri on to something when connected Ancient Greek and
Norse culture? Archeological evidence is more substantial than written evidence alone, since mistakes can be made from it, so studying Greek and Roman myth has become relevant.
