Don't think, just because I haven't updated my neocities in the past couple days, that I haven't been doing any website work. Nekoweb site coming soon, and it wont just be a mirror of the Neocities one. No, we're making capstasher's Corner 2

tbh if I ever made a Nekoweb, it would purely be a mirror for Neocities. Its cool, but eh. In the case of Neocities, I plan to make it a mirror of my own server but only not doing that now as I physically can't host it myself nor can I afford a VPS.

What would you share on capstasher's neko corner that you haven't already shared on capstasher's neocities corner?

@cidoku There is plenty capstasher content to come! Nekoweb site will be more retro than Neocities one, so I may focus it on written content, maybe creative writting and the sort. I'd like to make it more easily accessible on older PCs

It's becoming increasingly harder for older computers to access HTTPS sites. I doubt nekoweb supports plain HTTP, so that's some food for thought.

I may talk with Dimden about it. If it won't be possible, I'll just keep that as a place for creative writting still, and then make a Gemini or Gopher (or both, more places covered is always good) site to mirror all articles, fiction and nonfiction, to.

What happened to Secret Garden?

keltokel is the real one, been there since almost day one. Btw @kelkotel, I want you to know that without your awareness you have been instrumental to the development of capstasher's Corner

Your beautiful 88x31 button, when converted to the colour scheme I use, uses all the colours in the palette, so when i add a new website to my links, i use your button as the colour template in Gimp to modify other people's buttons

I now remember why I never released the Forgotten Books Archive project. For every new entry there are 10 tasks that need to be done. Upload the book on catbox, make a copy of the post and read pages, replace the info, crop the cover from the website (sometimes even struggle to find it on FB again if its an old download), manually make the picture to go on the post page in Gimp, update the index and archive pages

And then obviously I do a test run of the page to check if everything is right and i find errors I need to fix

That is the great design your whole site should follow, well done.

@moheb-rofail no way, hard disagree! it's good for the archive, but the rest of cap's site's just fine

@moheb-rofail while i really like the design of the Archive, and i chose it because it sticks with my theme so well, its just a generic free mid-2000s template I found online. My main pages, while more janky and duct taped in place, have been modified extensively to fit the vibe i wanted the site to have.

A new theme, that will suit the site even better, will eventually be crafted. And that I plan to make from scratch after some intense html css and js learning. But for now, I think the original capstasher's Corner is good enough

Hey Myrrh! Do you have an 88x31 button I could use to link people to your site?

Absolutely beautiful mixed media website. Very much reminds me of the book "The Wander Society" by Keri Smith!

Also, based on the music you have playing, if you haven't listened to them yet, I highly reccomend you listen to the two albums made by Detektivbyrån, "Wermland" and "E18". I think you would enjoy them!

Alright alright. Mobile support coming soon™, but for now, to celebrate the 1M mark, I have released officially one of the projects I started a long time ago but never officially made public. It's an archive of Forgotten Books' Free Book of the Day entries. I even implemented a comments for each of the entries. More will be added soon. Also, more unfinished projects will be worked on and released in the coming days.
