Fellow pine nut pesto fan! If you put the pesto on pasta, it's really good if you add some whole roasted pine nuts on top as well. It adds a great crunch and flavor.

Also, you're not alone in trying to program a notes system. I've been cobbling things together in BASH and/or Python for a while trying to get it right. The struggle every time has been making sure things can be found again later. Tagging? Searching? Linking? How do I connect it all so it can be tracked down as needed, even in a sea of notes? I guess I'm saying that I'm with you on spending a lot of time on this.

Just wanted to say that I read Portrait of the Artist in a Distant Graveyard and the lines, "Pinning your soul to paper, saying *look*, Only for the world to speak in awe Of understanding you as the mental mount everest, Too far off to read the words." are going to stick with me. Well-written.
