. . . Just a little pro tip to continue my last message: if you're buying a computer with less than $200 to spend, buying a used one off of eBay can allow you to get a REALLY nice machine for a low price without having to do all that configuration to get Linux running since it'll come with parts that are dated but decent and common, and as such said parts will have excellent Linux suppport right out of the box.

Thanks for the tip! I would've probably used it if I hadn't already spent $400 on my new PC: https://curbie.kevinson.org/journal/devices/in-use/

Oh, ok. I suppose the silver lining to that is you have a PC with some decent modern components to use instead. Oh well, good day!

This is a really neat little website. I like the big bombastic music you have on the homepage. I also am really impressed by the little section you had of that cheap chinese mini PC you fixed up and got working with a bunch of commands and patches. I feel like I would have neither the patience nor the intellect to figure all that stuff out . . .

"The day was boring as fuck, but I didn’t do shit about it because I’m lazy and scared." this hits too close to home.

I dig the way your 88x31 buttons light up!
