Here's a Javascript version to play in browser. ^^ (Flashing lights and high contrast patterns, but they're also very slow-moving, so probably won't trigger seizures if you keep the brightness down.)

Oh, correction: the original 1989 Kid Pix was always public domain and intended to be, given Hickman made it because he saw his then-3-year-old son struggling with MacPaint, so he wanted to make a free art software that's easy for kids to use. ;3; His friends encouraged him to sell it, Broderbund picked it up, and 1990 onwards, those versions of Kid Pix are copyrighted!
