I'm so sad to hear pooftie's middlepot.com is closing down, but it sounds like pooftie's doing it for all the right reasons. The reasons resonate deeply with me, the internet was much more fun when I had a more limited access to it and even when I had a lot of access, but before the age of social media. The constant connectedness and being available on-demand to everybody at all waking hours is a nightmare!

It's a very beautiful site with a soothing and calming atmosphere! I wish it could be kept up archived, but...
I just saw her post. Very sad! Hopefully it will be majority archived on the Internet Archive
Unfortunately, her website seems to be exempt! I tried to archive and it said her domain is exempt... seems like it didn't allow archiving somehow.
