I have always found the Christmas sales marketing strategies to be bizarre where giving money to charity is concerned: you have Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday. By the time Giving Tuesday comes around, most people would have been spent up and probably not even on gifts for people, but for stuff for themselves.

Nice to know what our government thinks about ill people. How long will it be before the disabled, and folks with illnesses like diabetes get harassed to end their lives? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c99rzxlv99et
I also doubt those robot thingies can cope with hair from border collies, too.
One other thing is I don't like having furniture in the middle of the room if I can help it. I rather have everything against a wall. I've got room for and the rest will be gone. It wasn't an easy thing to do before we moved last year because I wasn't sure what I wanted, and what I didn't even though we were short on space.

The library does have a lot of Winston Graham books, but I'm not sure if I want to read them next year as there are a lot I want to look at already, but it is nice to have a list of what the library has at any rate, so that I can decide later when there is less for me to get through. Maybe audible has some? I already have the Poldark novels.
There is a character called Prowse, and a character called Cheeseman in Hornblower and the Hotspur. All I can think about when they come up is Darth Vader and an anthro mouse selling cheeses.
