Maybe it's bc i really don't pay attention to the social media aspect of neocities that much but..the F+F drama?? What's up with that?? I remember thinking their vibes were off when the project was really new - and I even took my link to them off my site a hot minute ago bc they were giving me bad vibes..

hello all.. i know i usually pupdate a lot more than this... but life has been a little crazy lately!! and i'm low on motivation... hold tight for the next big update though!! and keep an eye on my links page!!

This is so epic.. i don't listen to enough bluegrass/folk, but i used to have a friend that made banjos and the sound has always been very nsotalgic to me.. your record collection page is so cool also!!

Ahhhh thank you!! Also, you knew someone who MADE banjos? That's lit. I know little about instrument-making, but it's something I've wanted to watch and learn more about

if anyone could give me a run down - im just rlly curious what exactly happened - i did some skimming and i read that unfollowing announcement but - is there more to it? or is that announcement what set everyone off?
TLDR THEIR ATTITUDE IS REALLY POOR FOR A ‘COMMUNITY-BASED’ PROJECT AND THEY DELETE A LOT OF COMMENTS, SOME OF WHICH ARE VALID CRITICISM. ALSO SOME STUFF W THEM HAVING EXTENSIVE AND KINDA ODD BLOCKING CRITERIA, ONCE AGAIN, FOR BEING A PROJECT THATS SUPPOSED TO YKNOW… HELP THE NC COMMUNITY
I think the main problem is their weird attitude about this whole thing. the announcement post is comically tone-deaf and really poorly worded, same with their replies to the backlash :') I don't really care for the drama, but it's like they're missing the point of their own project... also they said they will be blocking people and deleting comments regarding the drama, which is a little strange >_<
