Your article on digital collections was interesting. I'm a big Barbie doll fan and when I first got the internet, I would look up dolls I wanted and almost got existential because I thought, 'Well, I can just look at the pictures...' I do like the the internet allows us to not support consumerism, but I do think there can be validity to real-life collections and it can be a fun challenge to seek out deals.
But I agree some people take it too far. Excited to dive into the Tulpa zone too. I've enjoyed discovering Jungian theory and want to learn more. Your site looks like a great resource! Ty for sharing your perspectives. <3
Wow, I really love your article on digital collections! I love plushies, but I simply don't have the space to store and keep them. I have this situation with many of the things I'd like to collect. I should think about having a digital collection. :)
Whenever I'm thinking of a physical collection, I always have to think about size and expense. That's why my only two are enamel pins and CDs from musicians.
Oh wow I forgot I'd written that! I really need to move it to the tulpa zone haha. I don't visit palm city as regularly as I used to - I bet it's getting all dusty in there. Glad you enjoyed!!
Also I'm like,,, in love with ur site its so cool!! I love how you have a different aesthetic for every season for your journals - I might have to copy that ideaa <33
